  • Medicare and private health insurance details

  • Osteopath appointment and treatment history

Moon Bound collects personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you during osteopath appointments, patient forms, phone calls or emails

  • When you book online via our booking platform - Cliniko

  • From third parties with your consent (e.g. referring GPs or allied health practitioners)

3. Why we collect information

Your information is collected and used to:

  • Provide you with safe, effective and appropriate osteopathic care

  • Communicate with you about your appointments or treatment

  • Process payments or health fund claims

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

4. How we store and protect your information

Your records are stored securely using encrypted systems, including our trusted practice management software Cliniko, which is designed for osteopathic clinics & other allied health clinics like Moon Bound. We take all reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse or unauthorised access.

5. Disclosure of your information

Moon Bound will not share your information without your consent unless required by law. With your permission, we may share relevant health information with other healthcare providers directly involved in your care.

6. Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to access or update the personal information we hold about you. To do so, contact Moon Bound directly to make a request. 

7. Privacy complaints or concerns

If you have a concern or complaint about how your privacy has been handled, please contact Moon Bound directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
